Teachers: Why use games to teach content? Why use games to review content? Why use games to practice content? Simple! Games are fun and students love to have fun!
What if you had classroom game templates that you could add your OWN CONTENT to so that you have a classroom game that is specifically tailored to meet your students’ needs?! Well that dream is a reality! Introducing CLASSROOM GAME TEMPLATES: Sports Edition:
Classroom Games for Teachers
Think back to when you were a student. How excited would you be if your teacher said “Okay class, today we are going to play a game.”?
That’s exactly how your students will respond when you tell them you have prepared a FOOTBALL REVIEW GAME for them to practice their recently learned math skills. Or maybe you engage your students with a BASKETBALL PRACTICE GAME to prepare for state testing. You could also create a BASEBALL GAME to practice procedures or incorporate some type of trivia at the end of the school year.
The possibilities are literally endless with classroom game TEMPLATES, because you have the freedom to add your OWN QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS to the game templates.
Whether you create classroom games for test review, games to teach rules, or content based review games, your students will be excited to learn and practice!
Game Templates
Football Game
One of the classroom games in the BUNDLE is a football themed activity. It is called the “Classroom Bowl” and it allows teachers to add questions and answers to a “playbook” for students to play and earn points for answering questions correctly.
Basketball Game
Another of the game templates is a basketball themed activity. Similar to the football game, teachers provide questions and answers into the playbook and students earn points for correct answers. The game is called “Classroom Championship”.
Baseball Game
The last of the themed games is for baseball. Students will participate in the “Classroom World Series” for which the teacher provides questions and answers as practice and review.
All of the classroom game templates include a link to an interactive point spinner that teachers can either share with students or display at the front of the classroom.
